The scope
Public and storefront sidewalk are covered in this agreement. We will clean and salt the area from your building edge to the curb.
This is a walk-behind shovel and salt service. We do not offer parking lot clearing services.
What sends us out
1.5″ of snow accumulation is the trigger. We do not rely on a forecast. Actual measurements on your property are referenced for continuity.
We come back every time another 1.5″ accumulates, measured from the last clearing. One storm can mean several visits.
Ice with no snow
Freezing rain and icy walkways do not activate the snow trigger, but they can be more dangerous than a snow event. Those are treated as standalone salt applications at $35 each.
Salt goes down at every clearing, and that is part of the season rate.
When we show up
Service hours are 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, seven days a week. A trigger reached outside those hours is handled the next morning, before your posted opening time.
Route priority is determined by business opening time and the physical order of the route. Earliest opener first, as far as the street allows. Properties opening at the same hour rotate position week to week.
Term and payment
- The season runs 15 November 2026 – 31 March 2027. Visit counts reset each season and do not carry over.
- Enrollment closes 1 November. Invoices go out once enrollment closes and are due before the first service visit.
- No prorated mid-season starts. The agreement is non-refundable.
- Overage visits are batched into one invoice a week, Net 7. Three visits in a week is one invoice, due the end of the following week.
- The agreement covers this season only. It does not renew on its own — next winter is a new signature.
Routes fill before the first snow.
We walk the frontage, confirm the scope, and lock your rate. Tell us your address and your opening time.
Lock In Snow RemovalA block is a 100-unit section of a city street — the 900 block of Chicago Avenue, for example. Where it applies, a block discount covers both sides of the street. Enrollment closes 1 November. Once your pricing tier is locked on 1 November, it does not change during the season.
